Starting in mid-July and lasting about 3-4 months, the Greenfield facility will be initiating major renovations in the locker rooms, pool room, and spa room!

Among the improvements are new tile that will be installed on the floors and walls, new lighting, new wood in the sauna, new ceilings, new tile and floor drains in the spa rooms, wall painting, new doors, lap line tiles installed in the pool floor, a new UV light system for the hot tub, new backstroke flags for the pool, and a complete washing of the pool floor surface.

Work will be done at night time, no earlier than 8 PM, to minimize disruptions to our members. In the locker rooms, work will be performed in phases so that some showers, toilets, and sinks are always accessible; all lockers will remain accessible throughout the entire project. We will need to close the pool for about one month, with construction currently scheduled to start on Tuesday, September 4. The Spa Room is scheduled to be closed for about one month as well, with construction currently scheduled to start on Monday, September 24.

There will be a few options during these down times for those who like to use the pool for their workouts. One option is to use our pools in the new McCordsville facility, which is only 14 miles away, and to which all members of Greenfield can always use at no extra cost. We also have steam rooms, dry saunas, and a hot tub at the McCordsville facility for you to enjoy as well. Another option while the pool is down will be to attend some extra land classes on the Easy Line equipment in Greenfield. Watch for details of the days and times for these classes as September approaches.
