Oh, the Options! Class Scheduling Tips

Oh, the Options! Class Scheduling Tips

What do you look for in a wellness center membership? Is it access to a pool? Great group classes? A place for the kids to play while you squeeze in that morning workout? Whatever your needs, we probably have it available at one of our three convenient Hancock Wellness Center locations! Hancock Wellness Centers are especially happy to be able to offer so many great group classes to our members. In fact, there are so many, it may be overwhelming at times. The last thing we want is for you to feel like choosing a class is difficult, considering there are so many options. That’s why we’ve compiled a simple list of tips for class scheduling.

Pick the right location

Our Greenfield, McCordsville and New Palestine locations have different group class schedules and even different offerings. If you prefer to patron one of these, make sure you are looking at the right schedule

Figure out a good time for you

Another way to figure out which class to attend is to look at your schedule and figure out what time slots are available for consistent exercise. For example, if you really like to get your workout in before heading to the office for the day, you may want to partake in the morning cycling or pilates classes in Greenfield. If you prefer something to help you wind down in the evening, check out aqua yoga at McCordsville.

What do you enjoy doing?

Whatever class you choose, we want you to enjoy it and be motivated to keep coming back. If you love to dance and melt the stress of the day away, Zumba is a perfect and available at all three of our locations at different times. If intense cardio is your thing, cycling, HIIT and aqua tabata could be options for you. Additionally, yoga and mind/body classes are offered for those who would like to relax or manage their stress in a quieter, slower environment.

Do you have any specific needs?

Hancock Wellness Centers are a great place to exercise because we not only offer a plethora of classes, but some are also geared toward certain physical needs or disease management. Our Clinical Fitness programs provide those with arthritis, Parkinson’s disease and heart disease a safe place to work out and gain strength, mobility and maintain an overall sense of health and well-being.

We hope that no matter what you’re looking for, you’ll find something at Hancock Wellness Centers that fits your schedule and fitness goals. We believe everyone should have access to opportunities to maintain health and well-being. We’d love for you to join our family!
